About SARVIK
SARVIK is a non-profit organization made up of graduates of the Ramakrishna Mission program Samaj Sevak Shikshana Mandira at Belur Math in Howrah, West Bengal, which puts to practice their theoretical and practical training in social service based on the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. Into the loom of their stable Indian culture and heritage, they weave modern science and technological innovations to support existing villages desperately in need of assistance.

Sarvik Vivekananda Gram Seva Sanstha was formally registered as a non-profit social organization in 1993-94 with branch centres across eleven districts in West Bengal, Tripura and Orissa providing economical, social, cultural, educational, health and hygiene assisting services with a morale boosting spirit of “Shiva Gyane Jiva Seva” (Worshipping God By Serving Man).

Educate our people, so that they may be able to solve their own problems, until that is done all these ideal reforms will remain ideals only.
