Educational Programme

We maintain some educational programme. Because our India is a poor country. So we seem that the organisation do anything, but it need to perform at least a n  programme under Education approach.

For this reason, we maintain some achievement of education programme by help of a noble foreign contributor and also by our own finance.

Our programmes like under these :

  • Running Pre-primary Schools & Primary Schools
    Free Hostels with Coaching Classes
    Functional Literacy to SHG’s Members
The VIVEKDISHA – Education through Satellite

Schools are now spread over in remote villages across the country. But well run model schools are still rare in number. With the mission to build character with morality of the children alongside introduction of model teaching module our Sanstha steadfastly steps forward in this direction. It is a matter of pleasure for us to observe that the children getting passed out from our schools are being preferred by higher schools for their admission in those schools. Relevantly we express our woeful gratitude to the great patronage received from Vedanta Society, Edmonton, Canada and Wild Rose Foundation, Canada, enabling us to make headway in our efforts.

The concept of ‘lifelong education’ has its roots in Sri Ramakrishna’s famous saying: “As long as I live, so long do I learn.” It is thus a matter of great satisfaction and joy that Sri Ramakrishna’s and Swami Vivekananda’s vision is getting actualized in a small way through “VIVEKDISHA project of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University under the Village Resource Centre (VRC) Scheme of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

Ramakrishna Mission has been striving hard to cater quality education in India primarily with the vision of its leader Swami Vivekananda. His vision of teaching religion, sociology, science and other things with visual aids and incorporation of technology is gradually getting shape in more profound way. ‘VIVEKDISHA’ is a space and ICT based development project specially targeting uplift of the Rural India.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an increasingly powerful tool for improving the delivery of basic services, participating in global economy and enhancing local development opportunities. Now the time has come to develop infrastructure and strategies that expand access to ICT and harness it for the development of humanity at large. VIVEKDISHA is a space and ICT-based development project of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University under the ISRO-VRC Scheme. The concept of videoconferencing is the backbone of this new project. The following are the special features of VIVEKDISHA project, designed for holistic development:

  • Space & ICT based
  • Need based
  • Local specific
  • Income generating
  • In local language
  • Time bound
  • Integrating Indigenous  Knowledge
